Setting Up a Photoblog can be an overwhelming task, unless you know how to work with WordPress...
Creating a WordPress photoblog is really very easy and I will give you some ideas and tutorials on how to do this.
Getting a Free Photoblog
- Step 1: Go to WordPress.com and Sign Up for a free account (or login if you allready have one) and create your first blog. Tip: Try to Sing up with the name you want to use for your blog, this is going to be your standerd first blogname.
- Step 2: Once you are logged in, go to the Design section and find a Theme that you really like. I went for Chaotic Soul becouse it has a nice simple dark layout that will create a nice border for my pictures
- Step 3: Upload a trail picture in your first post to see how much width is available in the template to show your photo.
You could also use just the small picture WordPress creates and link to you full image.
Remember, you get 3 Gigabyte of space for your blog.
- Step 4: Adjust the Media setting in your WordPress Dashboard to reflect your favorite settings, like the size of your thumbnails, the allignment of your pictures and the default size and link for your pictures.
